Looks good. You should keep it. When I got mine, I wasn't too sure about it either, but I just dropped it off to have it re-sanded and sprayed because when I bought it, you could see some sanding marks in the paint. Anyhow, without it on the car, it looks like something's missing. Can't wait to get it back on.

As far as losing your third brake light, here's a vid of my solution.

what did you do it with? just put a strip of led lights on the windscreen? and where does it get powered up from?

I got the strip from radiantz.com. It's the 100 led strip. I tapped into the wiring that powered the factory third brake light. These pics will give you an idea.
