Did you cover the top so you wouldn't get any overspray?

I'm really pleased with how she turned out, after driving it in UK weather for a few days its amazing how easy it is to keep clean.

You just need to hose it down after each journey and the crud falls off, but it is VERY difficult to dry. Drying towels just stick to it, so I'm trying to work out a way to dry the car - its ok if the water in your area is 'soft', as in not much calcium etc, but if its not I imagine it'll leave marks on the dip. There is a dip protect spray you can get which I'll give a go.

I masked up the roof completely, I didn't want ANY dip on it, but the rest of the car was mostly left. I should have completely masked the windscreen too, as getting small amounts of the stuff off can be tricky, whereas getting 5/6 coats off is super easy - I just didn't want to waste dip on the windscreen to it was mostly overspray.

As for the gun, I set it at half speed, so not too much dip was being sprayed, but towards the end opened it up a bit to get a 'wetter' coat on to prevent too much texture.

I'm loving the current colour, but am already thinking of a new colour, with mixed pearls AND a glossifier over the top to make it more Satin ...

Excuse me in the photo, we were being gangta'
