I can not believe how people are talking about the driver being dead or hurt. May be he was not drifting or racing or showing off or anything. May be his car skid. I was in an accident a month ago that totaled my car and i was going at 35-40mph speed. My rear spun as the roads were wet and messy and went across a three lane road hitting one curb and spinning again to hit the other side curb. It was not MY fault.
I just hope everyone in that car was ok.

If the guy was drifting on public roads, of course he deserves whatever happens to him. The drivers now putting the passenger and other vehicles on the road at risk. People who do stupid shit on public roads should expect this to be their fate.
As much as I wouldn't wish ill fate upon anyone, I think Id reserve my wishes for someone who didn't intentionally put themselves in that sort of situation.

Yes people die everyday, but that doesn't give your the right to make fun of it or claim to know what caused it. I hope someone would have empathy and compassion if something like that happened to you or me. Have some respect.

This is the exact reason that I rarely post here. Someone always thinks they're better than everyone else. Odds are, he was probably a responsible guy and got run off the road/lost control and hit a pole. And even IF it was an "under aged idiot" trying to drift, so what? It's not your car. Let people do what they please. He most likely learned his lesson IF that's the case, and he'll be moving on to a Carolla probably. Don't be so quick to judge someone who you've never met, over a situation that you have no knowledge of. And to wish injury or death to the passenger or the driver is just completely messed up. If that's the mentality that you have towards other people who don't think like you, you deserve the same fate.

Have some respect for someone's life. The driver may be someone's father/mother, brother/sister, husband/wife. Its not easy to loose someone this close.
