Car + Flood?
Nope. IL. Parents live in VA, so that's where the car is registered, but since I'm still a full-time student, I stay under their insurance, THANK GOD!!
Went back to the car this morning, it flooded again last night even higher. This time my wheels were completely covered, and it was all the way up above my center console . . .
Insurance is sending someone out today to tow it and appraise it . . . but seeing as how you'd have to replace the entire interior, all the electrical, the ecu, dash , etc. it'll probably be totalled.
Oh, and it smelled RANK this morning, holy god
More pics from the second round of flooding . . .

Well, this happened in my friends parking lot . . . the one time I park there . . . my lot is up on a bit of a hill, so it never floods. So an S would be safe still I think . . . but I dunno, I'll be lookin to spend $15-20K, so maybe an S, Z, slightly higher mileage evo/sti, who knows . . . car gets towed on monday, and probably won't have my check for a week and a half or so
Do you live in des plaines, IL because I know it basically flooded there. I live in Chicago and wow did it rain and thunder like no other yesterday. There were huge tree branches everywhere that snapped off.
