Car is keyed everywhere (UPDATED)
You need to raise $3000 to $5000 for the reward that you are going to post. Somebody told somebody and that somebody can tell you who is the culprit.
If 30 people kick in $100, you have the minimum.
PM me with your Pay-Pal info and I'll send you the first $100.
Then make yourself a little flyer and go door to door.
And start thinking about who is on your enemies list, and hit their friends with your little flier as well.
Maybe somebody start a reward thread for you. You have to act fast.

Ugh this is why the fit goes outside and the S in in the garage at all times.
Something to look into for security is those motion activated hunting camera's that hunters use to see where the game does. They are usually night vision and have a pretty good picture and they are designed to be hidden in the bushes and be hard to see. Maybe do that or look into a full blown security camera system. Also think about a very sensitive alarm with a pager.
At the very least it was just some scratches on the paint. It could have been a broken window and stolen hardtop, and stolen interior and a totaled car.

First of all, thanks for all the kind words and support guys. I really wish I could respond to every comment here lol. It really does mean a lot and I've gathered a lot of useful information from putting this thread up. Also, I'm definitely someone who would admit to my faults, but I really am not on bad terms with my neighbors, friends and have not done anyone dirty. I can't think of why anyone would do this (blue sports car?) but now I kinda wish I would've pissed someone off so I could at least wrap my head around this a bit. Being completely honest with myself, I did not do anything to deserve this and am on good terms with everyone in my life. I want to believe that it was just a group of punks but the fact that whoever it was keyed words also makes me consider otherwise. Who knows... all I can say is I'm praying that they'll come back to vandalize again so I can get these losers on camera and put them where they belong in jail.
Yeah my hardtop is okay, it looks like "ROBE" is etched on the back of my trunk. I have no idea what that's supposed to mean :/ Thanks I will definitely keep you guys updated.
Yeah I've been keyed countless times at school, etc. but this is the first time to this extent and with the use of words/profanity. The first time my car was almost stolen, SoCal is horrible for S2000's with all the theft and vandalism.
Thanks, I feel like I'm cursed with my S2K at times.. I got my soft top slashed that time as well, there is no doubt in my mind that if I didn't have my hardtop on this recent incident and still had my soft top, it would've been slashed again
This actually happened in Fullerton. I work in Irvine but I stop by home a couple times a week, the last time my car got gutted and almost stolen it was at UCI and alot of my close friends from UCI also experienced vandalism in the past. Irvine is supposedly a safe city but that all goes to shit when it comes to cars. I learned the hard way
Whoa that is pretty creepy, what are the odds. I'm so sorry to hear that man, hang in there and hope you get her back to tiptop shape. Let me know how everything goes with insurance and feel free to PM me if you want
This.
Everything you experienced I went through as well except it was in two total different occassions
I'm definitely going to look into getting a camera set up, and also want a dash cam in my car. Thanks for the advise
You took the words out of my mouth
Haha I don't know if you're being serious or not, but either way I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the advice, will definitely look into this.
UPDATE:
Man it's been a real rough past two days. So I ended up going DTM Autobody and they'll be working with insurance to get me a brand new paint job. I feel like it's in good hands and have heard really good things about them. I'm just trying really hard to stay positive from here on, no point in being upset and I don't want this to eat me up inside forever. I will be setting up security cameras at the house for sure, and now I just need to work on figuring out which dash cam to buy to put in my car. Thanks again for all the feed, advice, and support, will definitely keep you guys updated
Sorry to see man. Same thing happened to my S two years ago, except they keyed EVERY panel, i mean fenders, quarter panels, f'd up the mirrors (like they kicked them in or something) side sills, front and rear bumper etc and also slashed top. Insurance paid for the whole car to be painted, I got it painted white (used to be ssm) and Im happy with it, but really bummed because the factory ssm was immaculate. DEFINITELY set up security cams, you can get a surveillance setup for around $500, I have a 2 cam setup with monitor at my apartment and it's one of the best things i ever bought, gives you peace of mind. Not just to know you can catch whoever tries anything but its presence alone will most likely deter 95% of criminals.
I'm definitely going to look into getting a camera set up, and also want a dash cam in my car. Thanks for the advise This is the worst type of person who targets something someone loves that is defenseless. I would love to catch someone in the act of this, but my girlfriend would be extremely disappointed with me, as I'd probably end up doing 25-life after killing them in the worst way possible.
It makes me sick how people seem to endlessly get away with this bullshit. I'm supposed to value some random person's life more than my own sweat and blood? Yeah right. Not when so many people have this level of indecency. They can all perish and I wouldn't shed a tear; I don't care what kind of hard life they have.

why do you gotta be so gay?
JK man.
dude, the same scenario happened to me last 4'th of july. Had a buddies car in the shop/garage getting work done. first day ever the S was outside, woke up, top was slit to shreds. and mine was absolutely perfect wihout a single flaw. so like your paint, you just gotta pay and waste time and effort to get back to where you were.
f@#kin bullshit.
luckily, vandalism is covered under your comprehensive insurance and will cost you a deductable and that is all.
If peoples hands were cut off for their first offense of stealing, and they were beheaded for violent attacks, this shit wouldnt happen 1/10'th as much as it does.
