Psh. That's nothing. There's one going around with a 1000cc GSX-R motor. Lurid powerslides on command.... Basically undriveable without lots of room and guts.

when I totaled my bike I found out there's a shop nearby that makes many go karts a month with liter bike motors, they do some 600cc's too, but mostly gixxer 1k's and R1's... for some reason the ZX10 motors fetch $500 less than the other liter bikes.

The funny thing is, those 600-1000cc, 4 stroke powered karts arent really any faster around a track than a 125cc or 250cc 2 stroke shifter kart. Once you get much more than 60 or 70 hp, they just cant put it to the ground.
The same applies for cars. Have seen many 400whp+ S2000's out performing mild bolt on S2000's at the track?

In case you didn't know it, there are four GSX-R motors - 600cc, 750cc, 1000cc, and 1300cc (Hayabusa). I was clarifying the issue.

Actually, I completely missed the reference. Thanks for the heads up. Now I almost feel stupid...

Although, as fast as that go cart is....a helmet would only delay the inevitable.

Time attack, yes. Top Fuel S2000 ran a faster lap time than the ASM widebody, which is the fastest NA S2000 out right now. The TF AP1 was putting down over 400ps.
