Default CE28SL + Stoptech BBK

I’ve had very little luck with sourcing a used set of CE28N OG spec, so I ended up purchasing a set from Idleboost in Texas.

So far as expected with the 328mm rotors, the Face 3 concavity makes it difficult to fit without some sort of modification. So far, they touch the face of the caliper very slightly, so I ordered 3mm spacers to clear.

Here’s a sneak leak of what to expect on the NFR. Soon to be wrapped in 255/40/17 RE71rs’s. More to come!

Nice fender roll. Mine had “bacon strips” from rolling when I bought it, due to a poor rolling job. What’s your planned tire width?

Yeah, 255. I’ve ran the same tire size on my WedSports for the past 4 years except they’ve been Hankook RS4s. So I’m excited to see how these will sit and handle in high temps.

May end up raising the fronts 3-5mm when the new wheels are on. Spacers arrived today, so I’m hoping to test fit today as well.

UPDATE 12/11: 3mm did not do the trick, 5mm it is...

How much lug nut turns were you left with after the 3mm spacer?

I will have to check again once I receive the 5mm spacers. I pancaked the two 3mm spacers together to simply check clearance and it cleared the Stoptechs with room to spare. I didn't tighten the lug nuts, so I will have to test it next week and let you know. If the studs are too short, then I guess I'll have to order ARP extended studs now too.

Thankfully the ground temperatures permit me from enjoying the car, so I am not in a rush to get everything together that's needed
