personally I think all front lips need to be painted. Leaving it unpainted looks unfinished and an eyesore. IMO its almost as bad as seeing an old accord with cheap blue unpainted "ricey" front bumpers.

I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to pay a higher price for a carbon-kevlar lip that wouldn't self-destruct, but people are too lazy to deal with kevlar.
