a VERY fun car...
it's extremely torquey.
I recommend driving one sometime, it's unlike anything else I've driven.

You Know your car is faster with the top up right, just a pointer for your next track day.

Yup quite a capable car compared to ours! around a track. I watched some SCCA runoffs on speed a couple weeks ago, Nice track!

some tracks require you to run with the top down..... not sure if that was the case.

Nice driving.... and nice wind-breaker

Yeah, I was behind a CooperS with smaller pulley & exhaust upgrade at my local track and he was really quick. Fortunately for me, the driver wasn't very experienced, so I passed him fairly quickly.

As for the camera mic, I just cover mine with tape (low-tack painter's tape or racer's tape is best, to keep it from leaving residue on your camera). However, it seems that a little bit of wind still gets into the "chassis" of the camera and makes a little noise. But it's a definite improvement.

Run a cheap external mic and mount it in your trunk. Or under the dash maybe.

My parents have a Mini Cooper S and its the most gokart like car i've ever driven. And the tranmission is almost as good as the s2k's.

Nice driving - you know what you're doing! I had a little fight with Mini Cooper S that was tuned, but my S2K was quicker - the guy hit a wall later and it was over - but yeah, Minis are surprisingly fast.
