all the rides look sweet but the long exhaust is not my taste, i would accidentally burn myself one day

I will be the first to say it.....
Why is it when someone says JDM, that crap is cool?

I will agree, some of the cars look nice. The warn fender flare bolt on look is just nasty and ugly. Bubble tires and bent axle look is just stupid and would get laughed at if it were done here. Some cars can pull this look off, but not your dads 87 maxima. Don't get me started on the exhaust pipes that are 10 feet into the air. Might as well put fence posts on the back of the car. Whats with the hoses coming out of the front grill, looks lazy. Really was this the best/only way to route the hoses.

Looking back, one car has a spoiler mounted under the car near the exhaust. Old school or not, that is just stupid

I mean, I guess everyone has different tastes or something. . . I personally like all of them except for the last one. I think the paint on the first one is delicious
Besides the look of the "victory" pipes, doesn't anyone else wonder if they're a safety hazard in general?
I can just imagine some poor kid running into one of them when they're hot and then suing the owner for getting burned
