I was waiting on someone to do this! Slam it on some coil overs and I think you would have a winner!
Sorry. I don't know what it is about the "Slamming" S2's these days and what seems to be a new generation of owners but I have absolutely no desire to regress in the handling department.

Another thing is that I've just never thought the S' looked good on the ground...

maybe it's from watching all those Best Motorings and seeing the guys with no stroke get made fun of so bad, not to mention loose the battle.

Yes Sokkie, I shaved the inside of the rear as soon as I had it on stands. It was a must!
Thanks again. Every where I go it get a thumbs up and or, a handful of questions and compliments.
I absolutely love the look and the heightened feel... not to say they won't be coated six months down the road in a satin black.

BTW: After taking off the stockers, I couldn't believe how much lighter these were.

Wow! I got burned bad! What I was implying was to lower the vehicles center of gravity, which IMO would take up some of that wheel gap and really make the car look clean. And yes I know that the stock suspension set up is excellent, but dont you get alot more adjustment and is it not easier to corner weight the vehicle with a good set of matched coilovers!?

I wasn't trying to hate at all...

I guess you're idea of "slamming" is a lot different then the incredibly ridiculous tuck jobs seen on this site. The car just was not made to ride like that... and it looks like you know that so my bad.

I am actually dropped 1.2 as it is and to be honest I am completely happy with the amount of stroke it's got. Espilirs are what I've got on there now. The next mod (months down the road) will be a turbo kit (not sure which yet).

I had an '03 that I absolutely loved that was SC'd w/AC, 18 inch staggered Racing Hart CPF Tune R's, and BC coilovers among other small mods. I regretted every day after I sold it... my awesome wife saw that horrible pain in my soul and had that CR delivered three days before my birthday. Yes... I love her.

I felt like going a slightly different route on this one and will be keeping it on the track (looks) side of the spectrum being that it's ( a CR) meant to be.
