Not lecturing but dude, if you couldn't afford the insurance, you were out of your league. Think about the amount per month it would have cost to have that policy versus the amount out of pocket you now have to pay at one time to repair the damage.

I define totaled as below....
cost of repairs > bluebook value of car - cost of the unfixed car salvaged for parts

I've seen less damage to another S2K and it cost $13K...yours will be pretty close to being totaled as I see this costing more than $13K

im sure its fixable
it will cost you alot, and its a real hassel getting your car fixed
good luck you will need alot of time, alot of cash and please dont give up
and remember to insure your car(s) in the future

i own a paint and body shop and car will never drive the same total loss sorry. part it out or use it as parts car. my s2k is for sale

That doesnt look too bad. Don't get to depressed about it though. There will be other cars in your life. Check out the SLR Mclaren in this Forum as well. It will cheer you up.
