the idea behind the first video was to boost sales of the ctr. the s lost on purpose per hondas idea that if the ctr was shown beating the s than more people will want the ctr and not the s.

the CTR gets new design with bigger better engine. wish they would have done that with the S.

The S2000's demolished the CTR.
If you look closely, you'll see that he revs to 10k and there's also a part where he's downshifting and it goes past 10k for a brief moment.

I think that was just the car getting sideways when he hit the corner. The tires gripped causing the smoke.
