Hahaha i dont even remember why i used the silicon hose instead of Alum!

you are supose to clock it from what I read over and over again. If you look at it in the pic you can tell that it should be. Looks like it pulling hard on the coupling.

I skimmed the instructions briefly and didn't see anything about clocking the unit. It does look strange, but there isn't any stress on the coupling from the blower.

I agree completely!

I read that a 90 degree bend equated to 3ft of straight piping as far as air flow goes - I don't even want to know how restricting that u bend is.

Yeah I just looked right after I posted. Suddenly it all makes sense now. I paid $850 for the unit. It does not include a BOV. You can have it either flanged for an HKS or a Tial BOV.
