you mean you got one like this?

You got a J's cage instead of a Spoon roll bar.
what does this cage/roll bar setup cost?

Is the biggest downfall to the cusco/safety21 the fact that the bar thickness might not be enough and also that it all bolts together?

What about the actual shape of it? I like the shape of it and the way it looks and you don't have to do all this trimming.
I thought about looking into having a friend making one for me that had the same exact shape but used the correct thickness and all the joints would be welded together instead of bolted together.

Would that likely get me onto the track? Here you can't have just a hardtop or cusco roll bar.

i don't understand why a roll bar setup that is BOLTED together would not work as well as a WELDED setup?

your suspension is bolted together at the joints and holds up to tons of abuse on the daily basis. why wouldn't a roll bar hold up for 1 incident (a roll over)?

just asking...
