I feel your pain, trust me. I'll tell you a story about my current car. I currently own a Mazda MP3. I had a turbo kit on it that pushed out about 215 to the wheels. My car was just simply beautiful. Not anymore!

Well, I was a member of a MP3 forum just like this one. I met a guy from it and he was pretty cool, a little immature for his age, but pretty cool regardless. Anyway, he had this fat, ugly asian girlfriend. She seemed a little distant but still nice the first time me and my wife met her. Well, the two of them were always fighting. They broke up several times, and she liked to come on the forum and publicly humiliate him talking about their relationship. It was pretty much like a white trash scene from Jerry springer except he is black and she is asian. Well, one day I went off on her when she was saying shit like all guys that go to strip clubs will go to hell, ....yeah, she's nuts. Anyway, she took that personally for some reason. Since then, she has vandalized my car 6 TIMES!!!!!!

1st time: About 1 week before HIN Dallas and I was booked in the Mazda booth. She poured a whole bucket of white latex paint on my car.

2nd time: She poured some type of acid on my hood. It didn't hurt the paint at all, but it destroyed the grill since it was metal.

3rd time: She spraypainted in red " U" on the passenger door.

4th time: She spraypainted the WHOLE hood with the same red spray paint.

5th time: She used a crow bar to pry open the fuel door and poured sugar in my gas tank.

6th time: She followed me to work and I didn't even know it. Then keyed my car just like yours.

So yes, I feel your pain. I was never able to catch her because she would space the attacks out over months. I would record for about a week or two, then tire of it and stop. Then she would strike again. The worst part is that the cops would not do anything about it. They wouldn't even question her!!!!!

That's not all she did though. She knew my last name and she knew where I was from. She found the phone numbers of my family where I'm from, then called my grand mother on new years day and told her that me and my wife died in a car accident and they needed to fly to dallas to ID our bodies because they were so mangled. She would also email the president of my company with all kinds of crazy emails from a yahoo email address with my name in it that she created.

PEOPLE LIKE THIS DESERVE TO DIE A HORRIBLE AND SLOW PAINFULL DEATH!!!

She will get hers, I am very patient. She has even threatened to kill her baby and blame it on her boyfriend. That's how crazy she is!

So when you get down about your car, just think about my case.

OMG!! Someone needs to pay for all that damage!!! Even if you have an idea who it is, thats enough!

Yes, but here's the catch. This was told to me by a detective himself by the way.

These types of cases in Texas are handled by the district attorney. In Texas, the DA is an elected official. If he has a losing record, he or she will not get re-elected. The detective said that the DA will only take open and shut cases to court. This is not an open and shut case. There is overwhelming coincidental evidence, but no hard evidence(video tape). The detective said I could sue her and I would almost surely win, but that would cost me money out of my pocket. I am a college student and I can't spare the $2000+ to pay for a lawyer. The detective also said that the punishment for things such as this is almost ALWAYS probation only for a first offence. No fine, no nothing. She would just have to pay for the damages and what ever "lost time and aggravation" I suffered from it. But a judge would never award me with much at all from a single mother that is in college also. And the shitty part is that she knows this so she just keeps on doing it. There hasn't been an incident since January so maybe she has stopped.

But mark my words, I am patient, and I will get my revenge. Maybe a month from now, maybe six months, maybe a year or more, but I have not forgotten.

 

Everything has been fixed on my car, but in the meantime, I have had to claim on my insurance 5 times. So they ofcourse decided not to renew me. My car is still in good condition with low miles, but I feel as if it has been raped. It's tainted now so that's why I'm going to get an S2000. And you can't beat the prices of the one year old S2000's right now.
