the first thing came to my mind was where is the reverse and signal?

it looks like something i would get if they make it oem color, aka yellow/white for the inner circle.

I only like the outside LED set-up. I would've kept the inside reverse and signal light.

Looks cool though.
that might look alright.
I don't like these, they look like 18 wheeler taillights.

I like LEDs but this reminds me of a 18 wheeler.

I had an idea like this over the weekend. I think it was a mistake to make the inner set of lights the same as the outer.
What I would have done is keep the array, and just alternate between white and yellow LEDs. That would make both the reverse light and turn signal coaxial with each other, eliminating the "half-moon" look the AP1 lights have. The way these lights are setup, looks like they were taken off of a Peterbuilt at a truck-stop. I think there could have been a wee bit more creativity with the array design and the way the lights are arranged.

. . . And PLEASE get rid of the "Vtec tuning" sticker! Something like that belongs on a 1988 rust-bucket civic with a fart-can muffler and gigantic wing.

Thoughts? Okay, you asked for it.

Definitely lose the VTEC sticker.

The whole car is one giant VTEC sticker. Anyone who knows what the hell VTEC means is also going to know that you can't get an S2000 without it.

Anyone who doesn't already know the S2000 comes with VTEC isn't going to know enough to be impressed by the sticker, and anyone who does know what VTEC is will know enough to not be impressed anyway.

I mean, the car also has dual overhead cams and electronic fuel injection, so where are the DOHC and EFI stickers? The 2.0L sticker? Aint got 'em because ya don't need 'em.

At 60 MPH, LED taillights will give the driver behind you 15 extra feet of reaction distance over a filament type.
This is because a filament has to warm up and goes from dull to bright as the voltage increases.... LED's are instant on off... and the amount of time difference at 60MPH gives 15 feet.

So from a safety aspect it's good...

Although I would rather use an LED style replacement bulb than change the look of the taillight....
