Like your navi mount. What is it?
Thanks, it's a panavise mount from modifry

I just think your driving technique primarily the steering is appropriate for a lincoln or a taxi but just odd in a sports car...

2 hands on the wheel and kept at the same location (ie: 10 and 2 or 9 and 3)
Every track instructor I've had has instructed me to drive this way. Even Woody from TireRack commented on it when i was doing some testing with him in the car at their facility in South Bend.

leaves or lift throttle?

nice save!
Leaves, if you turn it up loud, you can hear the crunch right before it came around. I wouldn't consider it a save, I did lose it - which in my opinion isn't a save.

poor steering technique but nice video
See comment above. I believe this technique is taught because it gives you a lot more room to catch the car should it come loose. On an autocross course, once you x-up your arms, you can't turn anymore. Why would you want that?

In a long boring video like this you'd expect OP to at least point us exactly when the "save" happened.
didn't watch the whole thing, huh? It's not a save, but a slight spin. Notice I had to restart the car?

Looks like fun. You ever tried it at night? I did it a couple years back in my GTi
In the summer, that's the only time I run the Dragon. Im pretty good friends with the locals and run it with them a lot. I've got rally lights for the s2k that go on for those times.

This road was a new one that I found last week, so I haven't done it at night. I'm actually more comfortable at night than I am in the day. Night in the fog and rain at the Dragon is my favorite. Call me weird.

On another note, a few s2k friends and I are making a run up to Blood Mtn in N.GA this Sunda the 5th. PM me if you're interested and would like to go.

If you think shuffling your hands like you're passing rope is the faster or better approach then go right ahead. The turns in your vid were not even srs enough for you to even have to move your hands from the wheel for 90% of the vid. Don't be mad bruh, poor technique is poor technique, even if Sebastian Loeb told you to do it it would be poor. (disclaimer I am not a 7 time wrc driving champion)

Eh, I doubt that guy wished. He feels it might happen based on OP's driving.
Exactly. He's out smashing around a very narrow slick road, using both lanes. Something bad is bound to happen. The truth is, I'd hate to see something like that happen, but... I wouldn't be surprised if it did. The guy int he PNW section was doing the same shit this guy is.

The OP claims leaves, but I didn't see any in the video when he spun out.

Cool video, but I agree with someone commenting about your steering technique.

I feel like if you keep crossing the double yellow around blind curves, leaves are the least of your worries.

Exactly. That + wet roads = not the brightest driving. You're lucky you didn't smack into a tree... or trees.

Stay in your lane on dry roads next time.
