I used a 17-40mm F4L for most of the pix. its a fairly inexpensive L series lens. i got mine for $630, but they average around $670....check it out...

As someone who studied photography with a couple of dudes named White, R.A. and some old guy with the initials of A.A.
you are pretty good.
Back in the day taking the photographs was only part of the deal. Darkroom was just as vital.
Now it's all about your computer skills post taking the shot.

Out of the 77 posted at least half are marketable.

I really like the close up of the koi and the hummingbird in flight.

Thanks, I am familiar with Film and Darkroom as well. nothing like crossing your fingers for good negs after giong through the chemical process of developing, then throwing in some earbuds and spending 5 or 6 hours in the darkroom....so relaxing

I chased that humming bird all over that place...they are so fast..I thank the guys at canon for 5 frames per second on my 30D, of the 40 or so pictures i got chasing him from spot to spot i only ended up with 2 fairly clear ones...THEY ARE FAST!!!!!
