Not too bad, The transmission weighs more. I'm guessing 50lbs assembled. Of course anything is heavy when you are on a creeper under a car.

Something I would expect to read in a post on riceboy.com.
"I am gonna remove my differential as I hear they weigh 50 pounds, to lower my 1/4 mile times". DIE RICERS DIE!
On a serious note, please post impressions of the Comptech re-inforced rear as I am very interested in it once the 4.57's are ready to go. Thanks, jeff

Great post!

I am very interested. How long did it take you to remove it and how difficult was the job?

The diff was on the floor in about an hour and a half. I do work on Hondas for a living so I might remove it faster than most. I wouldn't say removal was too bad, It would have been much easier on a lift. It's not a job for a beginner. The real fun comes tommorow when I swap the housings.

Evaporative emmisions (EVAP) canister. Fuel vapor is stored in the canister to be later burned in the engine. It also was in my way, so I removed it from the bracket.
