I think your car looks pretty good the way it sits. Maybe if you clear the side marker and Mulderize the diffuser, it'd look better without all of that amber clashing with the blue.

I don't feel red will ever be played out. I only find red attracting too. I think you should just keep the blue if you are thinking of going gold. Doesn't seem like gold will go well with your color.
