shift@9k and i have built up some courage to bake our headlights together next weekend but i am undecided. Naked look or replace with JDM diffusers. Also, if you guys could post some pics of both styles that would helpful too. Yes, i have searched but they are older pics and i was wondering if there are new ones out there. Thanks for the help.

 

Naked is illegal in most states. My buddy has a 350ZR which is naked. After we put the headlights back together that way he decided the diffuser was a must get; so we're going to have to crack them again to put the diffusers in once he gets them off backorder.

Here's some pics of my car. I went both routes. I started naked at first, then went to smoked JDM. I personally prefer the smoked route. I did the sides also.

Clear JDM is the best way to go. It gives the car a more clean and luxurious look.

 

Naked IS legal in Texas, just for your info. My S headlights were naked and I had a printed section of the traffic code that described exactly what was required and demonstrated that they qualified.

 

clear jdm > clear usdm > smoked jdm > smoked usdm > naked > amber

 

Go USDM Amber's all the way. The Amber gives the car nice contrast. I stick to the Amber's so my looks different from every other hooked up S2000 out there. Be a leader not a follower is what I say.
