U R funny too.
first off i did paint a car before too... so i know the difference. i'm not going to feed the flames on this opinion of mine. it's clear that you can't see the orange peal.
if you have a two or three stage paint job with orange peal or runs it was most likely a fail. you don't have to own a S2k to see that.

majority of paints get some orange peel here and there, even factory paint....thats y u wet sand them bro...then polish..uve seen the finish product thru the pics from the begining when it was still primered to after painting then now its been wet sand and polished.
i wish s2winks can get a nice camera so he can show a better quality and detail of the paint job...
$500 maaco paint job= is single stage, more likely didnt use a primer, trims and weather stripping are just taped improperly and has a lot of over spray...and u know u cant buff a single stage incase u get a minor scratch....
DIY champ white paint job=cheaper for the cost of getting a paint at maaco, but better...why? coz is primered, has a base coat, and clear coat..its a 2 stage..if u get minor scratches u can buff it out...and the best part is u get the experience....
i am not trying to flame u or anything...but theres just no justice comparing a maaco paint job for our 2 stage DIY paint job(we put more time on researching on how to paint properly, more prep time, body work, etc. unlike maaco thats just pretty much a one day paint with a lot less time and effort put in to it....)

i don't understand why you did a DIY paint job on a S2K... IMO from what i can tell you could have gotten a better paint job for $500 at maaco
the biggest arguement is that you can't learn how to paint car by letting someone else do it. look at the miata in my sig, i did it with 500 buck and 2 week, DBC ppg and you are looking at a 1500 dollar job(that's what i charge for customer)
it's easy to pay someone to do it but if you can do it yourself why not?
to the op: looks like you still need to hit it up with some 3m black pad
after that it should looks glass smooth

WOW, mad props on the miata, what u do to get it that shiny, is it because
of the black pads...
thanks for the comment
Great DIY job man. Props on all the work. Only comment I have which is nothing really bad, but it just doesn't look like Champ White. I had my last car painted Champ White, and this one looks more like a GPW than anything. Great job on all the work though bud.
