Obviously the OP isn't going to drive around with cardboard diffuser (I hope not). Most aero parts start from cardboard mock ups before final shaping. It's part of many necessary steps that makes creating something original that much more enjoyable. Glade to see more DIYs popping up here.

Try scrolling through all the pics. If you did, you'd notice that it's fiberglass and body filler. another case of someone posting something before looking at the entire post
