this is my friends car....he powder coated his wheels a black-grey color
i kinda like it, but i think it needs some lowering to make it even better
so what do you think?

I like, more aggressive than stock and it differentiates it well. Is this your mate that has the MG hood? Looks like some strange lump on the hood

 

A dude driving a Suzuka (no offense) has to roll on some dark wheels to add some masculinity, also adds a racier look. So yes, the contrast is good. Just not my color. I wanted some contrast so I put graphite wheels on my Sebring.

 

I like the dark color wheels on the SB. good choice

For the love of all that is good and holy, please do not say that some guy put one of those fake ebay vents/scoops on the hood.

 

OMG, that what it is.... I am prettty sure I can see the outline of that thing on the hood.
