Corrado G60 swap

 

I was the sad owner of the first year Scirocco (76?). By far the worst automobile I ever owned. I liked the looks of the vehicle and purchased it as a second car but........Turned me off of Volks real good. The littany of problems I had before it rusted out in '81 could fill a couple of volumes of heavy reading.
The only thing good I can say about the car was it led me to a Toyota purchased new in '81 and it has been Japanese cars ever since.

 

I love the Corrados, they look sweet to me... Not so sure about the scirocco though.

 

 

Here's one of my favorites....

It looks like any other Scirocco, right? Just clean and simple...





But, pop the hood, and it's a totally different story...VR6 power, baby!!!!







Also has a nicely modded interior...note the newer model gauge cluster...
