Default Drift Event in Guam

Hey guys, im currently deployed in Guam, USA and went to this motorsports event called Smokin' Wheels. It featured Drifting,Rock Crawling, Baja trucks, and Mud Drags. There might have been more but i was only there on the last day.

IF YOU JUST WANT A LARGER SIZE OF ANY OF THESE IMAGES , CHECK MY FLICKR PAGE @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/48054840@N03/...57623880931162/

Heres a few shots! Enjoy:

...My favorite car/driver of the day...

Eatin' up those cones!

I cringed while this awesome FC slid into the dumpster...i'm surprised the back window didn't shatter!

A different kind of collision happened later that day as well...

Nothing a few zipties wont fix!

Kinda tricky to see the damage, but it definitely seemed like he couldn't open the door

My second favorite car. IDK why...but i couldn't stop taking pictures of it lol

Now this was awesome! I have seen anything from nutsacks to barbie dolls but never a Nintendo Controller.

A Few clean cars i spotted in the parking lot. I really loved the stance of the S13/Silvia.

Cool stuff.. I was stationed in Guam back in 2004. Do you by any chance go to Club Texas, G-spot and Vikings?

Thanks, and its just your basic entry level Nikon D5000. some shots with the kit lens and others with the super-affordable Nikkor 35mm F/1.8 lens.

THEN! i over-processed them in Lightroom

i mostly just desaturation and shadow/highlight changes. It was a great picture without the processing but i wanted the whole set to have the same dark/de-sat'd look.
