i dunno how low that is, but there's no finger gap in the front or back. used tein flex. (about 1/4 above lowest)
I think that is probably defeating the purpose of your coilovers.

you think so? my purpose of getting coilovers was to go low it hangs just fine with other S's in the mtns. or better so no complaints here. it's going to be raised up slightly in a few weeks (end of sem.= busy)

How does the Tein setups (RA and Flex) compare to Buddy Clubs N+ and megan racing coilovers? How much do the tein setups run?

RA set up is more of a track set up than street set up IMO. flex can be stiff yet soft depending on how you adjust the damping.

RA- $1800+ (?) or $2000
flex- $12-1300 + $3-350 for the electronic damping freaking controller (electronically adjust softness by a push of a button. other ones you have to go to each corner to adjust. however, if you're a street rider, you'll find yourself hardly adjusting the settings)
buddy club- $1000-1200
megan- 800 (?)

thanks for the replies and info....As I do see my self tracking in the future....i dont know how much i would want the ride and handling to suffer....any other suggestions? I want to go lower and dont get worse than stock handling......any other suggested set ups? The tein flexs with the controller seem very appealing right now....and btw blue03s2k i would be interested in possibly taking your set up in the spring since im in NOVA also....pm me a price which you think you will be selling for

[QUOTE=Costas,Nov 28 2005, 01:34 AM] i'm lowered on buddy club coilovers, for some reason though the front bangs really LOUD when i hit small bumps. when i went for an alignment the mechanic told me that the lower control bar is banging on the coilover collars, but i haven't been able to find out why.

you need to install the washer on the top in the engine bay.....then it will go away (and yes I have BC's)

btw...here is mine dropped 1.5" on stockers

how can the Megan's be worst out of those if Apexi buys their coilovers from the same distributor? Just because its new and is cheap doesn't automaticlly makes it bad... I guess it has to cost the same price as the Apexi (1300) to be good

apexi only has one coilover for the s.. and thats the n1ExV which is a street based system...

but beyond that.. jsut because it's from the same distributor doesn't mean that it's the same exact coilover... either way apexi is not on that list... and if it was it would be on the bottom of that list right along side the megan coilovers...

go search for other megan products on ebay.. and you tell me if it's quality or not... they sell/make/produce/buy similar products to APC..... i would post pics but i'll stay away since this thread is good and no need to ruin it with useless pictures of megan products... but here's a thread you can find some in...
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=337493

besides it's my opinion.. and i'm not the only one that thinks that way either..

I would put a lot of money on the fact that Megan's isn't that great of a coilover in comparison to most of the companies that offer such great suspension components for the S2K
