And yea, for $70k fuuck no. Thats like buying a $90k NSX, just stupid.

 

I'm sure the E90 M3 will look great and I like a few of the front prototypes, but those tail lights in the last pic are hideous . They look like some kind of lexus, but I hope they use more of the 4dr E90 tail light look. Nice post btw

Oh, and whoever says they don't like the E90 or don't think they will like it, give it some time. I'm sure the E36 guys were saying the same thing back in 1999. Thats just the way BMW designs are, they definately grow on you. Look at the new 7 compared to one before it was redesigned, the old one looks so plain. With that being said, i'll still always love the E46 M3

When I got an e46 in 1999, e36 people on the boards hated the new design.

That said I was coming from an e36 and i loved it. This new e90 is a pretty boring looking car.

Nothing will ever beat the purity of the e30 M3 look, IMO.

 

e30 M3 was the best ever...period! I had an e36 M3 which I dearly loved. I've driven the e46 M3 in many iterations: manual, SMG, coupe, convertible. Could not convince myself to get one. Not too fond of this new one either, especially at that price.

 

I dont know why but ive never "had a thing" for M3's.. 2 of my close friends own e46 M3's and ive driven them both.. yes theyre FAST but they're just not appealing to me.. Plus at 70k id rather buy a slightly used porsche than a beemer

 

i gotta save this thread so that everyone can eat their words when the M3/M4 comes out....400HP V-8 with seating for 4....yummy.

 

or you could save 30k and but a GTO= 400hp 4 seater.
