Default early thanksgiving arrival from spoon

look what I got in the usps mail today, a new spoon center brace bar. It is aluminum construction. This spoon bar replaces the drive shaft propeler guard. for spoon sports for come up with this idea. I will post the installation pics this weekend.

this is the installation pic from spoon sports japan web page.
thank you Mr. Tatsuo & Hector at kamispeed.com for fast shipping & friendly service. I can not wait to visit their shop this coming Spring of 2010 to pick up the rest of my spoon ordered items and revisit Daytona beach, Orlando, FL.

Is this just to prevent the driveshaft from catching the road in the event something breaks? Or is this to reinforce the chassis?

it is aid in re-enforcement of the "mid-frame well" according to spoon. For a daily street car you will not notice any difference, but for spirited & track driving it will be more responsive around curves and tight entry/exit corners

as long as the shop uses similar forged billet aluminum quality material for less than $100 usd, I would say yes. This spoon item is average at $85.00 usd
