I'm with TEHSTIG, wear a helmet, pad it. That rollcage is for track purposes where the driver wears a helmet. This kind of accessory is not appropriate
for daily street driving. Sure the car will be protected in a roll over. But not the noggin!

doubtful. you would have to be pretty damn tall to hit your head on the top of the windshield.

OP looks great i always wanted one, in white too.
it's the bar along the side that goes from the a-pillar to what would be the b-pillar that you have to worry about, and the one right behind to the left.

cant really tell from the pictures but it seems like this cage does not get in the way of moving your seats all the way back. can you confirm this?

u might want to consider running a harness.
no need for helmet for street because it'll increase the chance of an accident (daily drive cars don't all roar and so you can't hear them..and most of us are taught to listen to the cars around us to know where they are for normal driving) and it's just not practical.

you probably won't hit the bars next to the window, but your neck can stretch and roll back to hit the bar next to your headrest. body parts can stretch alot in general on collision.

bucket seat and full harness will do.

i've sat in my buddy's s2k with the cusco cage just like yours. the cabin space is so restricted. and im sure the ankles and the arms have the highest chance of breaking (or bruising) on collision.

Looks great!

dsmscorpio- It looks like the seats can go all the way back b/c it doesn't look like there is a harness bar there.

haha, padding? take some padding on a baseball bat and smash your head against it. no bueno.

looks nice (quite nice, might I add), but for safety.
