Default F1 & NASCAR

Sorry if this is a repost but I found this video on youtube, thought it was really interesting.

It's a video of Jeff Gordon talking about F1 cars and taking a F1 car around for a lap.

Then they interview Montoya, then he drives Jeff Gordon's car.

It's something I always wanted to see so enjoy guys!

Sounds like Gordon was way more exited about the F1 car than Montoya was about NASCAR. Understandably...

I remember reading about this when it happened a few years back. It seemed like Montoya was just trying to be polite when speaking about the Nascars compared to F1. All he could say was that it's 'different' and 'fun.' Interesting experiment, but it proved what millions already theorized - Gordon definetly got the better end of that deal!

i remember seeing this live on speed channel a couple yrs back...i believe it was '03
jeff gordon was actually doing pretty well being it was his first time in an F1 car....he was like 4 secs off the race pace for Indy's road course
montoya clearly had the harder time adapting to the Cup car than Gordon did with the F1.

and everyone should stop bashing on NASCAR....its a totally different type of racing than F1.....neither is "better" than the other, they are just different forms of motorsport

No, F1 is better than NASCAR. It's been proven.

Four seconds is an eternity in any motorsport. And F1 is way better than NASCAR.
