Fake Countersteering

If he was countersteering, the wheels are turned properly as they are right now.

The car is supposedly "drifting" to the left of the screen (nose is ahead of the rear, so the nose determines direction of travel) and so he's turning his wheels into the skid/drift.

its counter steering assuming the rear of the car is traveling towards the left in the picture.
