The console is not blocked at all. The side closest to the door panel BARELY touches the door. Not enough to notice and it doesnt leave a mark. I wouldnt recommend getting the seats to anyone only because of the PITA it was to get them mounted. I had to use the Recaro side brackets (hack them) with Sparco base mounts, and then have a custom metal piece made to drill into the Sparco bases. Just to mount the things. Id recommend staying with the SPGs.
