I do think a sticker bombed lip looks better than a mangled freshly painted lip.

I'm not much for lips because they wouldn't last on my car. Sounds like they aren't going to last on your car if you are repainting weekly. Prepare to make weekly repairs on your new lip unless you profoundly change your driving style.
