Finally lowered my car
very sweet!
From what I can gather, lowering an S2000 just amplifies the inherent "twitchiness" of the car when cornering (the ass end coming out from under you). As most know, and some have found out, the car doesn't really let you know when the back end is ready to break lose (which I also think has something to do with the S-02's). With the car lowered (and the ride stiffened), people have said it has even less (or no) feedback in regards to that "OH-CRAP" moment that nobody likes to experience.

I have found with my drop job that the car handles better and has less tendancy to oversteer. It has H&R coilovers on it and 18 inch wheels. I also agree with the comment aboutte S02's ot giving much "warning" when they loose grip. I am using cheap ass Paradas and they have suprised me at their ability to grip and they are plaenty loud when at the point of adhesion loss. I urge you to get your alignment done by a professional if you really want to wake up the cars performance. The tires may wear a little more but the handling is excellent. Which equates to less fear and more fun!

i noticed that "twitchiness" and yes.. the ass end does tend to swing out a tad bit more.. i'm not too worried because on the street i take no chances on driving wrecklessly.. i save that for Auto crossing.. but i'm due for an alignment.. and some 18's..
