chris what about powdercoating your wheels flat black?

 

I am going to paint them for sure this week but not sure what color..

Its between the following.

White
Black
Magnesium Blue

 

Blue:i think you were ok with the blue last time (with the c-west fenders, and cusco cage). you had all the crazy sh*t going on so it was just fitting to go the all-out tuner look and slap blue wheels on it. but now, your car is ALOT more conservative and i think blue would just send the wrong statement and stick out too much.

White=I'm not a fan of white wheels on a yellow car. Although J's Racing ran white back in the day with the TE-37's and all. But again, I think your car is more subdued alot now.

Black: I think it's the clear winner

Whatever you decide to go with, I'm sure you'll make the right decision and it'll look good.

I have been surfing the classifieds/wheels section in Japan and check this setup out...


Volk TE37s in Magnesium Blue
16x7 +42
16x8 +45

They were going for $500 with Advan Neova 205/50 and 245/45 tires with 90% tread left...

Why cant we get these... There was like 10 sets of these wheels in all different sizes and it looks more like a flat black thats why I think it will look good.

 

you mean like the blue is subtle not like your Works you had.......correct. that IS a steal of a deal. jump on it if you can. i'm still a little woried about the blue though. but hey.....make a believer outta me kinda like i have to do with getting my centers powdercoated gold on my GT-Cs

if you want, you can test fit my wheels to see how it looks on your car and decide from there

 

I vote for painting yours white if you paint them. I love the silverstone Mugen front race car with white forged Emotions that you had in your sig a fews ago.
