A few months ago I painted the front emblem just to see if I liked it or not and posted the photo. I ended up really liking it and so did quite a few other people. I'm not to much for chrome and it always seemed to draw my eye to the emblems and the amber sidemarker. I thought about shaving them, but I didn't want to debaged the car. So I had them painted and I finally got them back from the paint shop monday. So here it is. The sidemarker is smoked, and much darker than what it looks like in the photo.

How much did that cost you to get them painted?

 

Looks good. Is the paint a glossy finish or more of a matte/flat finish? Looks like the next step is cleared diffusers.

Eww, don't say that.

It was free to have painted, but I can't imagine it costing to much to have done. The paint is glossy.

As for the diffusers I can't decide to clear or not. One day I like the amber the next I don't. Also the police in the neighboring state is real anal but stuff like that (VA).
