Very nice indeed. Can't wait to see it with a hardtop later. Is that parking lot along Barlow S.E. overlooking Deerfoot? Looks familiar.

 

Yes, it is that road over looking deerfoot, don't know if it still Barlow since barlow ends before that street. You know the one though, there is a fire station on that street.

I was in Calgary in 1972! Pulled into town just in time for the Stampede! We didn't know anything about the Stampede and found there were NO hotel rooms within 50 miles! Had to stay with a family who had offered to keep overflow guests in their home (really enjoyed staying with them and learning about Calgary from a "local's" point of view).

Is the Stampede still a big deal there?
