Default First pics from my XTi - Your input appreciated...

Received all the goods on Wednesday... XTi, 3 lenses, 3 batteries... good to go. Have a Tamron 28-80, Tamron 70-300 Di LD Macro, and a Canon 50mm Prime F/1.8 II. All shots were taken with the Tamron 70-300 except for the one of my little niece (2nd one from the last) Here's what I"ve taken so far... As you can see I had it on the lowest aperture possible for almost every shot. Used Av mode.

And my favorite two...

Drool!

No Drool!

Input is GREATLY Appreciated! Thank you!

Are you a professional photographer or is photography something you picked up? None the less, great pictures.

Thanks Aze & Isaiah...

Just a hobby of mine that I started last year when the XT came out. Had to return it because of funds and now had the opportunity to get the XTi.

The camera does only 50% of the work as they say... and its best to make that 50% as best as possible Couldn't imagine fun photography without an SLR.

Pics look a little soft; ditch the Tamron 28 70 and 70 300; pick up a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and Canon 70-200 f/4.0L (or f/2.8 if you're not on a budget). These lenses are much sharper.

They could stand to have some more contrast though. You'll probably get more photo input in the PHOTOGRAPHY section than the gallery.
