Man, I love that car. I bet the "modified" meant it only had a slightly larger pulley on the blower. Soooo much power to be extracted from that kind of car.

Sounds awesome! Definitely not stock though, you can see that it has differen't wheels/tires in the back, as well as exhaust, but I'm sure it has more. I love those cars, but don't they have the same engine as the Ford Lighting trucks? That'd suck to buy a super car and know that it's not an exclusive engine, but rather an implant originally in a sport truck

I believe the the mill is derived from the SOHC V8 in the Lightning. However the GT's block is made of aluminum and is a DOHC V8; it has a forged steel crankshaft, high-flowing 4 valve cylinder heads, stronger con-rods, and forged aluminum pistons. It runs stock from the factory on 12 psi of boost while dual 70mm throttle bodies control the air/fuel mixture.

So as you can see, the GT is a very different beast indeed.
