I would have liked to do in dash but traveling to LA all the time isnt healthy for my car as it sits... nice setup though

Yes sir, drilled on hole where the aluminum plastic console is located. That section is hollow below so easy to mount.

What mount are you using for your cell phone? The bracket is from modifry, but what kind of cradle are you using? A link to the product would be great help. Thanks.

Bracket is custom made from ABS fiberglass - NOT MODIFRY.....

The magnetic mount my buddy brought back from Singapore but I've seen similiar things at Fry's or other electronic stores....works fine with my antique cell but DO NOT USE this with Ipod's or Iphones!

wouldnt the air from the ac blow on the mic and not let people hear you, in that case i would have mounted it right inside the vent, you wouldnt even see it. talking would require you to turn the ac off, but it would protect the mic from "out side air noise" when the top is down.
