my last gf lived in a questionable neighborhood...i tried not to worry about my car but i used to wait til she would fall asleep then leave just because i didn't want my car spending the night there. it really pissed her off but...

First off, your attitude toward this incident is incredible. I know there's nothing that can be done but I would be unable to control my anger. I put a hole in the wall when my first car was vandalized the first time and it was only a Spec V (the 3 or 4 times after I boxed with my friends).

Suprisingly, since I've had my S2K, I've had only one vandal; however, I've had multiple door dings no matter how close to the curb I park. I could give seriously 5 feet and they still manage to park close enough to smack their doors into my car.

What really sucks is that I live in Maitland too. Probably a mile or two from the condos where this happened (and I live in another condo elsewhere). I've only had my 06 for a few months now. Don't know what I will do when I get the first ding, but I know it is inevitable.

Did you have an alarm on the car besides the factory alarm? I put in a Viper w/ motion detection because I was afraid of someone cutting into my top. But, I'm sure a determined a--hole will do anything once.

looks like you pissed off some people or you just have some spoiled hoodlums running around the neighborhood. Sorry to see the damage, that sort of stuff makes me have irrational thoughts. I had my last car broken into 2 times buy some rich preppy punks (guess mom and dad cut them off). I feel your pain. Well good luck with the repairs and I hope it all works out for you.
