Oh i have, plenty. And i know that noobs spray it thin and it takes a long ass time to peel off cause it shreds in little pieces. And you being a noob and making your s look like shit, i attributed those same aspects to you.

Go play with your own toys. I enjoyed my dip session. I was on the edge of buying black rims and I wanted to test before I invest.
Now about the other dipping
-emblems i want black
-stripe i got bored and wanted to test the dips ability
-mirrors , someone put a huge mark flinging their door open at my office.

have a nice day!

So much hostility. Let the guy do what he wants with his car. I helped my friend plasti-dip his wheels black on his 8th gen before this was even a fad and it still holds up to this day (we'll see how hard it is to take off later). Not really a fan of black wheels or random plasti dip, but it is a pretty amazing product that can stay on for years and peel off and not harm the original surface. Looks like you took the time to do it right though

So much ridiculous hostility. Let the man do what he wants, if you don't like it simply move on. I think it looks good. Definitely a good idea to test out the look before spending loads on new rims. I say a good $45 spent.

I plasti dipped my stock ap1's. Thought it looked good until I peeled it off and without it, it looked so much better. The black almost makes it look cheap

How many cans did you use? I'm thinking of PDing my wheels and then spraying over them with regular paint. I've heard the paint comes off with the PD so I'm gonna experiment with my center caps first

I used 4 cans
that gave me 6 coats, you really only need 4 coats but i went with 6 bec it will come off easier and i had the extra dip so why not?
best results spray 6-9 inches away to prevent a fuzzy look. (too far and paint will dry before it reaches the surface. too close and u make a mess)

Paint will come off with the dip, but it wont come off that easy. u will need some assistance.(tire shine works great for dip removal)
If ur going to paint over them make sure the dip is thick and even.
spend a lil time on google the guys at DipYourCar have tried about everything.
