Huh? Wheres it say that?
I took this at 1 in the morning w/o additional lighting - only the moon & stars. So it ended up being a 4 and a half minute shot.
thanks for viewing!

can you change exposure time on only a few cameras? i was wondering if my camera has that option and if so, how to use it.

i took this w/ a canon 300d and stock lens...
the car was a rental we used to get to a rallyx event -- i raced my friend's 91 subaru legacy turbo, man that was a blast!
As for your specific camera, that would depend. Most point-n-shoot don't have those sort of advanced features (i believe there are a few, but rare). With SLR cameras you have much more control over the behaviour of the camera -- the 300d is a digital SLR.
Regardless, take a look at your manual, you may be able to squeeze out some tricks by adjusting the exposure compensation, iso levels, etc..
