You cut the spats...not the diffuser. The spats are $250 pieces of fiberglass vs. the $800 - $1200 CF diffuser (depending on where you buy it).

looks clean! ide rock almost any rear diffusor out there in the market for the AP1.. J's, Spoon, Gears, they all look aggressive and would complete the look of my car IMO

by far, i think the Gears diffuser has the cleanest look. very subtle not noticable.
