yeah my first time out I was able to borrow a Go-Pro so that was cool!

This should be okay considering this too is 60 fps HD (just like the Go Pro 2 HD)... the only real difference is the wider lens on the go pro and obviously its superior non-McGyvered mounting system lol!

only slightly, i had to rotate the image slightly and crop it. if i had a wide angle lens it would be better

If you have a roll bar and a DSLR with a tripod mount then I highly reccomend a Manfrotto Magic Arm

Why not get a suction cup or roll bar mount, and mount the flip that way.
