As the topic explains. I just need to start and learn how to create gifs in order to use them as banners for many reasons. So what I need is an easy tool/software that I can start learning/working on my computer and of course since am a noob it should be free as well!!!
I have already done some search on the net and I get many results but I dont know which one is the most user friendly and have good capabilities.
So please somebody throw me a freaking bone here!

the best way to do it is to pick up PhotoShop & ImageReady...if it's a newer version of PhotoShop it will come w/ ImageReady (i believe they started including it w/ v7.0). you can then create multiple PS files of what you want and place them into ImageReady. there is an animation timeline that allows you to order the pics how you want them and how long you want each pic to be displayed for....
this is just a quick idea on how to do it, if you have any other questions feel free to pm me. im more than willing to help you out and guide you through it in more detail.

For a free product that is good to learn with try UnFREEz. It is made by WhitSoft Development and can be found very easily through Google.
If you have trouble finding it, shoot me a PM.
