I don't think that you are crazy for going to town on brand new parts. Anybody can order anything from a dealer and slap it on their car and call it modified. Customizing is the way to true uniqueness. The fact that you can't just order gold Spoon calipers....that you have to spend money and time to make them that way....is truly unique. And don't be fooled by a few of the replies here....if Spoon offered them in gold, trust me, they'd buy them that way.
