It seems like the electronic control box is still no fix yet.
Has anyone tried running w/o that box??? and/or Just use
the v-afc? The comptech unit has no electronic control box.
All it has is just a check valve, fuel pump, and a FMU. Isn't
the fuel pump and the FMU that vortech provides good enough?
What does that electronic control box do anyways? raise the
fuel pressure? takes out timing when the engine is under boost?

you can not compare a s2000 to an integra. it's just different class. a sentra?! no thanks..
i think the s2000 looks better and handles better.... i'll take the s2k period.
FYI, i have tons of friends that own integras. some of the fast integras.
one local guy here running a integra (Street driven) 12-sec on slicks and it's all motor. it's built and high CR. i am doing the same thing. I have a 12:1 Endyn built B18 motor waiting for a home. I'm looking
for a integra shell. the complete project is under $20K. The S2K: $35K Sure, the integra is faster but
I like to drive my s2000 when I go out partying, go AutoX-ing/road racing, or just hanging out with friends, but i will not drive my integra.

Nope I do not have a VAFC.

I am running my S on stock timing right now. It is definately boosting and it is definatley fast but I am sure that the stock timing is leaning out the fuel which would explain the incredible gas mileage im getting. I still have yet to see over 8k in the car since installing the S/C and only went to 8k on one shift when I was merging on the highway.

I expect that when we get everything worked out with the Vortech timing control the car will run that much better and safer.

Once you've got a RWD, it just shows how crappy FWD really is, no matter how fast the car is.

Take it to any road course and that Integra would be dusted. It isn't always the straight-line that matters.

Plus - there is NO substitute for having the top down.
